JAM X BAND/Coral Sea Entertainment Group is the 2009 GigMasters Rising Star Award Winner for Top World Band for GigMasters bookings in the United States and Canada.
JAMX BAND is celebrating 22 years of successfully entertaining fans of Caribbean music in hundreds of cities across the United States & Canada Since our inception in 1988, we have been jammin’ a unique and exciting blend of high energy Reggae, Ska, Calypso and Caribbean roots music that has kept audiences, large and small, corporate and private returning year after year.
JAMXBAND’S success however is also in great part due to the participation and great dedication of the talented and professional musicians and performers, past and present, who give JAM-X that artistic edge when we hit stages throughout the USA, Canada and Caribbean. JAMXBAND members are from various Caribbean countries including Jamaica, Trinidad, Cuba, St.Vincent, Barbados and St Lucia, and the United States.
In our 22nd year we are integrating the merging genres of Reggae-Dance hall, Hip Hop, Soca,R&B and Funk to take our musical appeal to a level that is attracting younger listeners as well as traditional old school fans.
Watch for our first completely original CD scheduled for release in Spring 2010.
Our debut CD, ‘JAMXBAND LIVE’, a potpourri of original and cover songs is a must for Caribbean music connoisseurs of all ages, and is still a favorite for Travel professionals who use it as telephone background music while clients are on hold. The past 21 yrs have been an awesome human experience for JAMXBAND and Coral Sea Entertainment. The evolution of JAMXBAND from, local Brooklyn NY cover Band, to one of the most successful and requested Live Reggae Caribbean bands on the internet is testament to the hard work, professionalism, talent, dedication and faith of the musicians, performers, staff, Clients, Celebrities and friends who interact with our organization every day, every month and every year. Thank you to all (you know who you are) who have made the journey so far, a very exciting and unforgettable one. We will try to highlight in pictures wherever possible some of those memorable moments.
