as an ideal opportunity to showcase their High Energy Live Caribbean music Performances to a Midwest Community largely untapped but eager to learn more about Caribbean culture. We however needed a gimic. Guess what works every time.....

Our timimg could not have been better because nine months later JAMXBAND can safely say that we have left our musical mark on Grand Rapids, made a ton of new friends and fans,and made one Happy couple glad that they came to the B.O.B. to see JAMXAND on a Satuday night in May 2005.

They brought home a Caribbean Vacation sponsored by 'SUNSWEPT RESORTS' and 'JAMXBAND', the only Caribbean Band in North America always giving away great vacations away to their fans.

The Phenomena continues; and we have just added the B.O.B. to the growing list of Restaurants, and Night Spots who have benefited from our Promotional and Marketing antics of bringing great Caribbean music to fine venues, and allowing average people to be exposed to the culture of the Caribbean through the music and possibly visiting a Caribbean Country personally. Much of what we were able to accomplish, bringing great authentic Caribbean music to the B.O.B. would not have been accomplished if not for the support of some very key people in Management at The B.O.B. who took the time and effort to be informed about what we were proposing, and implemented it as best they could given the many logistical prolems that plauge a fledgling idea like this one..

the wonderful staff at Bobarino's and Kabobs who made us feel so at home(big ups to Kerry, and Katie), and to our own Midwest Manager Julia Kirkland who worked tirelessly to make this venture (from proposal to Grand Prize) a successs.

Limbo contests were a highlight of JAMXBAND Performances Its a concept that has worked for over 13 years with support from CSEG, and their travel Industry Partners around the Caribbean. Since its not broken, we dont intend to fix it.

JAMXBAND Fans chillin' between sets So look for more Great Venues in the Mid west where you might be able to win a Carfibbean Vacation simply by being a JAMXBAND Fan. We have our eye on Grand Haven this fall. Word has it thats its a real happening town, all year round . Stay tuned........
