JAMXBAND' and the Jamaica Tourist Board treated thousands of New England Travel enthusiats to  an entertaining  slice of Jamaica this past weekend at the 3rd annual Boston Globe Travel Show 2008.

The show which was open to the public on sat. and sun. February 23rd & 24th was by all reports a complete success as countries from around the world and as far away as Tahiti, Malaysia and China exhibited their countries best to an eager to discover  Boston audience.

Jamaica which remains one of the world's top travel destinations was featured on the main cultural stage for two days and JAMXBAND' as usaual  brought the audience to the Island Paradise with the music and entertaiment which has turned Jamaica into veritable brand name.

As they say in Jamaica,  ONCE YOU GO, YOU KNOW.

The audience participated in an exciting and competitive Dance contest and was treated to prize giveaways from some of the Islands finest resorts .

The Grand finale of both days' performances was an exciting Limbo "how low can You go"  performance by Sonny Salina one of the Caribbean's best limbo performers.

This was followed by an audicnce limbo contest with the grand prize, a Jamaica vacation sponsored by Point Village Resort in Negril Jamaica, who gave four vacation stays at their property.

JAMXBAND' would like to thank the Jamaica Tourist Board Staff, and especially their new England Rep. John Woolcock for asking JAMXBAND' to be a part of this fine event.
