JAM-X's recent return to  New Orleans Mardi Gras and Jazz and Heritage festival 2012 turned into a historical & cultural reminder of the origins of New Orleans Mardi Gras parades and their prolific traditions including honoring the Buffalo Soldier as an intergral part of U.S. history. Appreciating this provided much fruit for thought and lots of ingredients for the creative juice machine!!
